Junior Project Control Engineer

Job Description

To plan, monitor, and control project activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the approved scope, schedule, and quality requirements. The role supports project teams through progress tracking, reporting, and identifying potential delays or risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring project cost, schedule, and progress to ensure activities remain on track.
• Support the preparation and updating of project schedules, cost estimates, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Collect, organize, and analyze project data to identify delays, cost variances, and potential risks.
• Support the project change control process, including tracking changes and their impact on cost and schedule.
• Assist in preparing corrective actions and recovery plans for identified project delays or cost issues.
• Maintain accurate project control records and support project meetings, reporting, lessons learned, and close-out activities.

Requirements

• Good MS Excel and presentation skills
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with project teams and support management with clear and accurate information
• Willingness to learn and develop project control and reporting skills
